Carla Burton has probably never known a time when she has not served in some capacity in the Kingdom of God. What began as ministry as a child along for her parent’s ministry, a young adult in Bible college, and as a pastor’s wife for 30 years, has culminated in becoming a credentialed minister with the UPCI, receiving her Master’s of Divinity from UGST in 2025 and being appointed as the UPCI Women In Ministry Secretary. Along the way, her love for the Word of God and study of its treasures has compelled her to face tragedy and trials in life as well as blessings, with an upturned face to the One who loves her most and to use her experiences and knowledge of His Word to pour into others. These things have caused her to author books, create content and speak to all who will listen about the goodness of God. Her study of the Word prompted the completion of her Master’s of Divinity in 2025. It also propelled her to ministerial licensing with the UPCI and working closely with the Women in Ministry Division. She loves her husband, Pastor Kurtis Burton, her children Caitlin and Travis Dykes, her family, friends and church, The Turning Point, well. And she loves you and wants to see YOU be rooted, grounded and passionate about the kingdom.
